Director Biography - Matey Genchev

Matey Genchev was born in 1999 in Bulgaria. He is 1st year film student in Art University of Bournemouth, England. Author of a popular Teen Scene talk show in YouTube. "Run" is his debut feature movie, filmed in summer 2018 with colleagues from the university. After the premiere on April 12, 2019, Run is a favorite film to teenagers in Bulgaria. It has been successfully distributed in independent cinemas and has been staying in the top 20 of the Bulgarian box office for a a couple of months.
