Director Statement

Rumbling: Preparing for Cascadia confronts the daunting reality of the Cascadia Subduction Zone earthquake, which many find so overwhelming they avoid thinking about it. Through engaging narratives and practical advice, "Rumblings" aims to inspire hope and action, emphasizing that preparation can mitigate anxiety and empower individuals and communities. This film transcends geographical boundaries, resonating universally with anyone facing natural disasters, and underscores our shared responsibility to prepare and support one another in times of crisis. This is not just an Oregon story but a universal call to action, reminding us that in the face of inevitable natural disasters, our collective preparedness can empower and unite us all. This is my first film and I am so grateful to be invited into this story.
