RSVP

A gay couple struggling to plan their wedding. Getting an RSVP a week before their wedding from the unsupportive family, a venue altercation and a gloomy weather forecast for their wedding day seem to escalate the wall between these two lovers. Should they just call it a day and just end this fantasy of wedding bliss?

Director Statement

RSVP is 90% accurate based on my real life experience with my now deceased husband and I planned our wedding when it was first became legal here in California two weeks before Prop 8 passed in 2008. Now we can celebrate it wholly and I am glad I was a part of that movement. This is my homage to my late husband, may he rest in peace, he will always be in my heart.
