ROSI

Rosi, now a young woman, reflects back on the days she spent with her mother as a young child. She recalls a phone call in the backyard while her mother gardens, overhearing her mothers perspective on gender roles. Later, the gentleness of her mother as she burns her hand in an attempt to help in the kitchen. And ultimately, the way her mother cooks. Every interaction between the two of them becomes a contradiction; somehow bringing their relationship closer yet driving them further away from each other.
