ROAM

R O A M, an adventure film spanning the United States during the first four months of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In January of 2020 I set out on a 6 month long cross country road trip in my Toyota 4Runner. I wanted to camp and photograph as much of the United States as I could in that time. My trip inadvertently coincided with the Covid-19 pandemic which created a few issues and obstacles for my trip.

After the California leg with a good group of friends I ended up being cut off from my family and friends primarily living on the East Coast. People didn't want or couldn't travel due to work restrictions and I was left solo traveling and camping.

It was not the exactly what I set out to do, but I would not trade the experience. I realize I barely scratched the surface of what can be done in this incredibly diverse country and I am looking forward to the next big trip soon.
