REVIVAL

REVIVAL is a dance film based on the rare and dying folk dances of India. It is the journey of a street dancer trying to dig into his roots by exploring his country's folk dances. The film attempts to showcase the beauty and nuances of these dances through the body of a dancer and the lens of a filmmaker. The film is shot in remote and dangerous naxalite infected areas of southern India to find the real dancers and bring out the true perspective of the dances.
