Tom Adair, director, and Kenneth Robins, creator/writer, have worked together in television beginning in 1983. Their award winning work for television includes "Swan Lake, Minnesota", produced by Joseph Papp for ABC and PBS. "Live from Lands", "Sleeping Beauty Wakes Up at the 10th Street Carwash, " "The Right to Fail" for PBS , as well as "Glam Slam Ulysses " for the artist Prince. RE marks a reunion of this team along with Julie Hartley, producer, and Johnny Hagen, sound and music.
RE is an effort to create a new theater for tv. Using technology that wasn't available when we first started, such as LED walls and AI, we are attempting to devise a dramatic series that can only exist in this digital world, rather than document a performance that was made for a traditional theater. .
