Experiencing Interruptions?

RETHINK - Philosophical Web Series

Made for mobile phone users, each episode of the series focuses on a philosophical idea interpreted and presented in a way that will put new life in it. Besides the entertainment aspect of those experimentals, there will be some irritation that cannot be avoided. Actually, this irritation can lead the spectator to think for himself.

I. In THE MYSTERY LOOK we are on the verge of putting the light of reason on the origins of our personal existence.

II. YOUR REAL EMOTIONS tries to show what’s working underneath the surface of social interactions which people are used to regard as the most natural thing in life.

III. In THE BORDERS OF OUR LIFE we may learn to stay silent when there’s no need for us to say something.

IV. The episode INHIBITED EMOTION focuses on the question what the use of violence might be.

V. In WHO YOU ARE the question who we are as humans is answered by a more precise question: who we once have been.

VI. Most of the things that bother us are IMAGINARY THINGS – because they only exist in our neurotic minds.

VII. In WE’RE ACTORS we may realize that people have actually lost connection when they think they have complete control.

Director Statement

I was introduced to films by films. There've been a couple of film directors I admired and started to understand as artists. I was fortunate all of them used great cinematography that would put some new light on things.
