REPEAT PLAY! VR

REPEAT PLAY! VR
A Musictheatrical VR-Installation by Valerij Lisac

for Samuel Beckett

The pointed precision and self-reference with which Beckett reduces the theater to its basic formal elements and allows it to become the object itself, inspired the director and multimedia artist Valerij Lisac to create an interactive music-theatrical virtual reality installation.
REPEAT PLAY! VR transfers Beckett's minimalism to a musical-kinetic setting around performing musicians and a dancer in an immersive space constructing an intriguing and somewhat haunted music-theatrical narrative. At the same time quietly and imperceptibly, choreographing the unsuspecting fifth performer - the spectator.
