REDEMPTION

The video stages a symbolic imagery, made up of unlikely characters, in which it is their very being at tell a story, dealing with themes and taboos that still compromise the freedom of an individual. A story with explicit provocative, sadomasochistic and sexual connotations; against a company that goes to fight the classic corrosive and fatal stereotypes, and all the the dirty side that the history of humanity has undergone so far, to the point of progressing a new rebirth, the result of a new awareness of freedom of the human being. Fundamental issues are the freedom of being, the conquest of a place in society, the spiritual rebirth and the fight against the stereotyped beauty that society imposes. Video tells 5 different stories. Each story tells a "frustration", which induces aggression and innate instincts, of a sexual character, to the enlargement of the ego and to the instincts of pleasure and destruction, which have told the character to be such, through symbologies, metaphors, art performances, sexual acts, Dionysian rites. I characters their limits and decide to accept their being, abandoned in an incredible fusion of bodies, generating the spiritual rebirth that overcomes social conventions and sets them apart in the face of the drama of beauty, understood as correspondence of arrival and departure. In each story there is also space for references and historical, artistic and psychological reinterpretations, such as the Renaissance, the "Night of the long knives" and the persecution of homosexuals by the Nazis, Freud's psychoanalytic theory, that it is found in the various characters. Diversity imposes itself on society in the form of something that is not as it should be and the same he rejects it because perception as a threat to the lendable order. In the video this is re-proposed in an inverse way, diversity becomes the conquest of cultural identity, breaking social patterns and the pre-established order, becoming almost a solemn celebration.
