Director Statement

I tried hard to try new art forms and shooting techniques, and spent six years writing, directing, and acting in a wilderness adventure feature-length film, <Reborn eagle>. More than half of the film was shot by me alone with a mobile phone, and the rest was done with the help of my friends, and the whole film was shot with natural light, and a small number of special effects shots were completed using AI technology, although rough and imperfect, but trying to improve.
The ideological significance of the film is that anyone who encounters setbacks in life, as long as they do not give up, as long as they fight tenaciously against fate, they will always get through the difficulties and be reborn. This film is inspired by my own life experience, as well as from the historical disasters of countries, groups and people around the world who have responded to and overcome the difficulties in the face of the new crown epidemic, as well as the unfortunate encounters of countries and people in local international wars. It also metaphorically criticizes the selfishness, greed, hypocrisy, and depravity in human nature, and exposes the unspoken rules and corruption that are prevalent in human society. The final ending is that ordinary people's dreams are as colorful and dreamlike as the aurora, but they are indeed ethereal. I hope that this film can be seen and inspired by more people, bringing hope to their negative lives and gaining a rebirth of their minds.
Although this story is about a one-man race, it represents the fate of countless people, groups, nations, countries, and even the whole world. When we are in a desperate situation, the spirit of never giving up is the power that saves us.
