The Movie has diverse layers & storylines which on the first sight seem to be confusing. In the same time there is a synchronizity between them all.

The viewer has the freedom of interpretation & is invited to observe out of different angles the own inner & outer world of feelings, emotions & fears lying underneath the perceived reality.
Essentially the movie transmits strong emotions & feelings of human beings in diverse psychic states.

Director Biography - Jean Shaktiliana

My passion is Art. Currently I am working on my own Art-/ Film- & Design-Projects.
As a yoga teacher I'm sharing my experiences of yoga as an integral part of life.

Instead of following the standard career of architecture, where my academic background is, my focus now is on art and filmmaking. I was studying & practicing arts since I can remember & I'm planing to continue creating in my future.

Director Statement

With my work I want to point out different aspects of being.
I want the audience to think about the question of Reality itself. Where is the line between a dream and being awake, when the " I " can also be awake in a dream?
By showing emotions and feelings in several stages of the human psyche, there is a path to transformation, which I believe every human is capable of.
In my films I am creating dream-spaces, where one is going to dive deep into several dimensions of being. I want to bring my dream realities on screen in order to show a possible path to transformation of self.
All of my visual works are interconnected to each other. "Reality Reversed" is my first short movie & the beginning of a short-movie-series, which questions the perception of our material Reality.
