Director Biography - Chelsea Nwasike

Filmmaking is more than shooting a written script for entertainment. It is a motion picture art piece, that when crafted properly, can impact and influence viewers’ lives. A filmmaker can evoke emotions, craft moods and drive viewers to feel certain ways. Raise a discussion about subject matter that have occurred in the world or that will potentially happen in the near future. Films that hold a message that makes one reflect and question humanity or the future of it.

Director Statement

This film highlights the length in which people would go to find their "Significant Other”. At it's core it reveals the extent to which science inventions are progressing and that groundbreaking discoveries like these are only an idea away. Additionally, it suggests that perfection can’t truly be measured, it’s merely a myth. I am a big fan of the SciFi films that are relatable in today's world. I find it intriguing how the use of advanced futuristic technology placed in the context of today’s world, allows it’s viewers to still relate with the narrative, successfully suspending their belief during the viewing.
