RCBC Sustainability Bonds Impact Report Video 2020

The RCBC Sustainability Bonds 2020 Impact Report is supported by the RCBC 2020 Impact Report Video which allows the Bank’s bond investors to be aware of and monitor the beneficial impact of their investments on the environment and/or society, through the activities supported by RCBC’s Sustainability Bonds. The Impact Report video is an innovation and a manifestation of RCBC’s appreciation for investors’ confidence in RCBC’s Sustainability Bonds. The Impact Report Video serves the following unique three-pronged purpose:
i. The video provides an effective visualization of RCBC's contribution to the environment and society. This serves as a helpful tool to encourage interest in RCBC's Impact Report from the perspective of the RCBC investor /client or even among RCBC employees.
ii. Including the video as an enhancement to RCBC’s annual reporting is equivalent to RCBC delivering more than what is required in the Bank’s Sustainable Finance Framework. This, in effect, is RCBC’s manifestation of giving back to the overwhelming confidence of markets in RCBC, with all of our bond issuances oversubscribed in multiples.

iii. Communicating the contents of our Impact Report through the video is an innovation to the common way of complying with the Framework’s disclosure requirement. This supports RCBC’s leading stance in the Philippine banking sustainability space.
