Alexander is a British director and filmmaker who has worked in film, television and advertising for over a decade.
His highly acclaimed debut feature length film as a director, 808, (SXSW, BFI, Melbourne International Film Festival, New Zealand International Film Festival, Shefield Doc Fest, Seattle International Film Festival), is set to be released late in 2016 as the first documentary to be featured on Apple Music. The film charts the genesis and seismic impact of arguably the most important musical instrument of our time, the Roland TR-808 drum machine. Featuring appearances from the likes of Pharell Williams, Phil Collins, Afrika Bambaataa, Beastie Boys, Damon Albarn, David Guetta, Fatboy Slim, Goldie, New Order, Rick Rubin, Questlove, Armand Van Helden and many more.
