Experiencing Interruptions?

Quitter

A raw, introspective short film capturing the internal battle of addiction and self-doubt. Filmed in a single day using only an iPhone, Quitter strips storytelling down to its core—one man, one moment, one decision. A stark and unfiltered look at the struggle to change.

Director Statement

Quitter was never meant to be a film. It was an impulse. A moment in time I needed to capture before it slipped away. Filmed in one day with an iPhone, this isn’t polished. It isn’t perfect. It’s real.

We made Quitter for those who’ve wrestled with themselves in the dark. For those who know the weight of breaking a promise to yourself—again. Recovery isn’t a straight line. It’s a messy, painful, sometimes absurd journey, and this film exists to reflect that truth.

There are plenty of high-production films that tell stories of struggle. Quitter is different. It’s the feeling of being stuck in your own head, told with nothing but a phone, some fleeting light, and a willingness to be honest.

This is for anyone who’s ever felt like giving up—but didn’t.
