Denisa-Sorana Cîșlariu (b. 2001, Oradea) is a Romanian artist, screenwriter, and director, a graduate of the Bachelor's degree in Decorative Arts from the University of Arts Oradea. She currently lives in Valencia, Spain, where she is pursuing a master's degree in film production at Barreira A+D and collaborates with local production companies. Known for her versatility as a director, she approaches projects from all angles, actively engaging in every creative phase – from scriptwriting and directing to cinematography and music. Her preferred mediums include photography, videography, installation, and digital illustration, through which she explores contemporary social issues in a neo-avant-garde and neo-conceptualist style. Her directorial debut came in 2024 with Quietlands, an experimental short film that marks a new chapter in her artistic journey.
