Quattro Canti

Ernesto Lucas HO was born in Mexico City in 1986 as the second child of Abedul Orta and Ernesto Herrera.
From an early age, he discovered the world of painting and drawing, as well as the world of the circus, which he pursued and practiced with passion.
After studying at the art academy, he worked as a street artist, caricaturist and juggler. He currently works as an illustrator, live artist and performer. He was engaged as a live illustrator at the National Theatre Mannheim as part of the family concert "Carnival of the Animals". He has also made guest appearances with the Philharmonic Orchestra in Kiel and at the GOP Varieté Theater. During the lockdown, he illustrated the family concerts of the National Theater Mannheim in a hand-painted cartoon form ("Ma mère l'Oye" by M. Ravel and "Mara Tanz durch München", K.A. Hartmann), as well as "Der Barbier aus Sevilla", G. Rossini a white wall opera project. His artworks combine drawing, painting, linocut, lettering, calligraphy and magic!
