Makenna Tuttle grew up in a quiet town called Painesville, Ohio. Her earliest memories of being introduced to film were movie nights on the weekends with her father, watching science fiction works. As she got older, Makenna grew fond of painfully recording her family members and making “movies” on Windows Movie Maker. During her final year of high school while taking classes at her local community college, she rediscovered her love of film that had been lost many years prior. Throughout her time at Lakeland Community College, she was a part of and produced many student films and gained hands-on experience thanks to her wonderful professors and classmates. Following that, she made the decision to apply to Ohio University, where she hopes to meet more creative professionals in the film industry and tell stories that will change the world.
