The Qhia Dab Neeg Film Festival is the only Hmong film festival in the world. We are at our 7th year of promoting Hmong filmmakers and stories created in collaboration with the Hmong community. The QDNFF has the privilege of uniting Hmong from all parts of the world to share stories from their communities.

Located in the largest Hmong population of any metropolitan in the United States, St. Paul, Minnesota is the home to the Qhia Dab Neeg Film Festival. Join us in strengthening the stories of the Hmong community and how others can enjoy, celebrate and learn alongside.

Festival Guidelines:
*Must be a Hmong filmmaker,
*Must work in collaboration with a Hmong individual,
*Must have a Hmong cast member or
*Must include the Hmong community in the story

We give highest consideration to the following:
• Clarity of story
• A strong message
• A Hmong cast/crew/director/editor
• Technical quality
• Audio quality
• Content of story

SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION - Programming decisions are made by the festival panel. Selection of films will be notified by Tuesday, March 15th, 2016 via email or phone. After your video acceptance, your presence is requested during the film festival and to meet other filmmakers at the Opening Reception.
