Director Statement

Originally, me and my co-producer/editor were planning a drag queen music video to serve as their reintroduction into the local drag scene. However, as time went on we concluded that if we were to stand out, we would need to create a concept that was simple, while also leaving room to be as creative as possible. This allowed us to explore the visual narrative through a queer African American lense, while using different art movements as inspiration for the edit's presentation
