When Jessica moved to Texas in 2012 to further her education in Criminal Justice at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, she already had been working in TV/Film as a freelance makeup artist.
Though she has obtained a degree in Criminal Justice she has always been passionate about a future in filmmaking. Her journey in filmmaking began at an early age when she took on acting and found herself fascinated by all that took place behind the scenes.
Jessica has participated in several acting competitions and opportunities, worked as a professional makeup artist on numerous productions and have served as Assistant Director, Production Manager, Producer, and Director of various film projects.
Que Termine la Guerra is Jessica's very first film production in which she Directed and Produced herself.
Filmmaking is not only a career but an art form, one that I am passionate about and hope to take to new heights through my life experiences and those who inspire me. Que Termine la Guerra is an experience I lived through personally as a teenage dependant of an Army soldier. It portrays the true struggle of military deployment and the hardships of those left back home.
