Pursuit of a Diamond

This "dram-edy (drama-comedy)" is a modern mob pirate movie about mobsters and gangsters going after a cursed stone that belonged to their Pirate ancestors. Mobster Toothpick Sal, from the Prochetti Family, is sent down from NY to Florida by his brother, the made man, Rocco Prochetti, to look for the diamond. Toothpick Sal and his clumsy hired goons, run into some obstacles and characters that once possessed the cursed diamond. These colorful characters: Spanish Fly, King Zulu, The Colombians and Squid all passed the diamond from one to the other in an attempt to get rid of the curse. Ultimately, Toothpick Sal is able to obtain the stone and send it off to NY where the diamond's curse shows its destructive power once in the hands of the made man, Rocco Prochetti.
