Izabelle Azevedo is an autistic and latina (Brazil born and raised) multimedia creative. She's been living in the US since 2014, and after trying different professional paths, Izabelle launched Red Skirt Media in 2019 as an attempt to use her creative brain to produce content for female founders.
Izabelle is now extending her career goals and committing to a path in the film industry. She is proudly finishing her Associates in General Studies next Spring, at the age of 35, and wants to transfer to the film program at Towson University.
Purple Heather is Izabelle's first try in screenwriting/producing, and the whole project, from idea to final product, took 17 days and a $130 budget to get done.
Izabelle is hoping to raise awareness about Autism and other neurodivergences in girls and adult women. Since she found out she is autistic and ADHDer, her life changed completely as she can now understand herself better and get the support she needs.
