Purgatory

To the unheeded cry There is no time left and to the desperation they feel about not being able to avert a climate apocalypse, teenagers and young people respond by expressing anxiety, anguish and panic about having to pay the debt left by previous generations. There are no adults in the short: just kids, paralyzed by having to live on the crest of the destructive wave that generated them, their desire for change, and their loneliness in having to atone for the sins of others. Yet what transpires is that sense of aspiration to life that characterizes, in an overwhelming way, an age made up of a thousand emotions. Purgatory is a totally self-produced multilingual short film, where form and content meet in heterogeneous and promiscuous fusion, just as they do in todays contemporary forms of communication.
