Mallory Gieringer is Senior majoring in Film and Video Studies at Purdue University. As a transfer student, Mallory began her studies at Purdue University in the Spring of 2014. That summer she was chosen for an internship with The Elliott Hall of Music. The internships success lead to making a video for the Journal of Purdue Undergraduate Research Magazine (JPUR). Mallory was Assistant Director for the film, ‘Continuance’ which was a semifinalist in the 2015 Student Academy Awards and was a second place winner at the Raw Science Film festival in L.A. As a senior Mallory’s passion for filmmaking has taken her around the world to places such as India. She has directed, filmed and edited several Short films, and various video productions. Her recent projects have included several videos for Purdue Universities Cheerleading team and the video, “Guide to being a Boilermaker” which was highlighted in an interview with The Tab Purdue magazine.
