Director Biography - Tim Schwagel

I'm a filmmaker based in Eau Claire WI and i've loved movies ever since my dad took me to see "Dinosaur" when i was three years old. Eau Claire doesn't have a large film community, but it is strong and i feel lucky to be able to do what i love right in my home town.

Punch Me came from the desire to write a character for my pal Reanna Madson. I’ve known Reanna for a long time and she’s one of the best actors I know, so I knew I had to stop screwing around and finally put her in a short. It was a blast working with her to put together the outline and character beats, and I dang-well hope that we’re able to do it again. Beyond that, I still can’t believe that my cast and crew let me drag them out to Weyerhaeuser, WI until three in the morning to help shoot this thing. That’s wild.
