Psychescape: A tale of a place within
The experimental film is an abstract exploration of two opposing states of existence. The desertscape symbolizes alienation and a sense of being lost, while the green landscape embodies belonging and safety. These two contrasting environments serve as metaphors for the relationship between body and space, psyche and space, or even body and soul. The film delves into how our sense of existence is intricately tied to the interconnection between the soul, body, and the places we inhabit, reflecting on how each element influences and shapes our experience of the world.

Rehab Ayman in an emerging multidisciplinary artist, who attained her bachelor's degree in Architecture and Urban Design in 2015. She then pursued her masters, which she completed in 2019.
Rehab took an interest in visual arts since her undergraduate studies, but her interest developed in her master thesis, where she used photography as her main analytical tool. She then developed a passion for film making and video art developing an abstract style.
I have always taken an interest in identifying the self to the place, and researching senses of existence, privacy and belonging. Interdisciplinary art has helped me understand my (self) and delve deeper into what defines us as existing live beings.
