Julan Villegas is an aspiring film director who currently resides in the village of Yigo, Guam. He was born on July 19th, 1999 and recently graduated from Guam High School. His aspirations in filmmaking led to the creation of the independent film studio known as, “Reaper Production Studios”, in the hopes to create bigger films in the future. Ever since his middle school years, he started creating YouTube videos about Nerf Wars, slowly progressing into making bigger videos. Julan’s most notable work prior to “Project Fortress” includes documentaries about the Battle of Guam, Japanese Internment Camps, along with short films such as: “Dia No Bueno” and “yOUR thoughts.” “yOUR thoughts” was shot in Tokyo, Japan for an event DoDEA Schools hosts called Far East Creative Expressions, in which Julan won “Best Screenwriter,” and his team won overall “Gold Director’s Choice.”
