Project «Selfie. Muppet»

It is a video diary which does not have certain narrative, logical beginning or ending. All videos have one main character – the hand (sometimes – it’s parts), and the author calls it a Muppet. Muppet is a symbolic doppelganger of the AntiGonna itself , embodiment of her fantastic, sometimes horrifying or schizophrenic world. All events are taking place in a dilapidated building. At the beginning it seems that nobody lives there, but then appears that it has inhabitants. These inhabitants of the building are the author herself, her father, her imaginary lover and sexual fantasies around him. The building in the video diary plays a symbolic part of the place, where father and daughter found their shelter from one side and became trapped from another. It is a closed-door claustrophobic space, filled with painful memories, weird dreams, understatements and secrets, concealed in years. In this video AntiGonna is trying to find her way to herself and restore once lost and not yet fully renewed contact with the closest person – her father and to find a real love.
