Progress
Progress was produced by a team of four students of Queen's Univeristy Belfast, as the final project of their third year.
It is a surrealist film about human progress, thought of as a cycle of people being born, learning from the older generation, making progress towards a shared goal, teaching to the new generation, and dying.
A young woman, the last of many before her, appears in a room with no exit and decides to spend her time drawing instead of helping with the shared goal of eventually escaping the room. After making a mistake that leads her to lose the work of the ones that came before her, she realises she cared more about escaping than she first thought.

BA in Film Studies and Production
Progress is my first project as writer and director. With no budget and an ambitious screenplay, the production was stressful and harsh, but with the resources available to us by Queen's University Belfast we were able to complete it, and as a team we are proud of our accomplishment.
