Procrastination

This film was actually made era Fall of 1999, immediately before my brother (the filmmaker) Adam Grickis passed tragically after being hit by a drunk driver. He was a Temple Honors student majoring in Flim and absolutely adored Kevin Smith and obviously took some hints from your editing style. We were blessed to know him for the 19 years he was alive and this will be the first time that he will have a film shown at a festival.

Cue Loki, our current 15 year old who has been to the Count Basie theater and Smodcastle numerous times and is almost as big of a fan as his Uncle Adam was. He's become friends with some of the other mega fans and has been lovingly welcomed into that family. Although Loki makes films all the time, he's a tad bit nervous to submit one of his own due to his age (even though he's already going to be a character in Quick Stops somehow thanks to the lucky pocket draw of an old Kev biz card), he will still be in attendance for the film festival this year, as well as my parents and the rest of my family. We are not going to mention to my parents that we submitted this film and let them think that Loki has submitted one of his own, so when you hear bawling in the Smodcastle seats, you'll understand why. =))
Obviously, the film speaks for itself and it seems to be a trait I've inherited because it's 9:02PM on the last day of submissions and here I am. Guess I learned a few things from my brother while he was alive. Hope you enjoy and can't wait to see y'all at Tusk and then I'm sure another ten times before the festival. Thank you for ALWAYS being a sense of comic relief for us throughout the years.
