Director Biography - Christian Morales

CHRISTIAN MORALES is an American Actor who is a native New Yorker "The Big Apple." A NYC based classically trained Actor in the Stanislavsky System lead by Miranda McDermott at New Media Repertory Co. & Authentically Meisner Trained under the guidance of Ron Stetson & Robert X. Modica of The Neighborhood Playhouse. A first time Film Director and 2-time produced Off-Broadway & Off Off Broadway Playwright for his one man show play NEX1: KID MARAVILLA (KID MARVELOUS).

The play's world premiere took place at THE ONE FESTIVAL Off Broadway produced by Pregones/Prtt/Teatro Circulo in Spring 2016 and there after produced Off Off Broadway at Manhattan Repertory Theatre on December 7 & 10 2016 with rave reviews. Thereafter went for a dual run at the OFF-OFF Broadway Theatre on December 7th & 10th at Manhattan Repertory Theatre -" New Theatre Celebration Series 11" in 2016.

Today in the year 2020 Christian assumes the role of SAGINDIE Producer for the short film screenplay adaptation PRELUDE: NEX1 KID MARAVILLA from his original stage play NEX1:KID MARAVILLAPRELUDE: NEX1 KID MARAVILLA premiered at the DUMBO FILM FESTIVAL of New York City in January 2020 at the online Bi-monthly event 2019-2020 and earned the rank of SEMI-FINALIST. The short film competed among 380 entries from 41 countries.

PRELUDE: NEX1 KID MARAVILLA became an official selection at THE BITE SIZE FILM FESTIVAL on January 27, 2021.

PRELUDE: NEX1 KID MARAVILLA became an official selection at the DMOFF (Directly Monthly Online Film Festival) on February 4, 2021.

PRELUDE: NEX1 KID MARAVILLA became an official selection at THE MANHATTAN REPERTORY FILM FESTIVAL in 2021.

PRELUDE: NEX1 KID MARAVILLA became an official selection at THE DOMINICAN FILM FESTIVAL FILM FESTIVAL in Fall 2021.
