Carla, a young Brazilian woman working at an American law firm in Panama City, discovers her boss, Mike, is involved in illegal activities. Torn between her career and her conscience, she confronts him, but he warns that exposing the truth will ruin her future.
Seeking guidance, Carla turns to a local church, where she finds the strength to stand by her principles. She bravely rejects Mike's demands, choosing integrity over her job.
As she walks away from the law firm, uncertain but at peace, she receives a call about a new job opportunity, hinting at a hopeful future. "Prayer Panama" is a story of faith, courage, and moral conviction.

Director Biography - Young Man Kang

Filmmaker and content creator Young Man Kang has directed several feature films and over 17 web series. All his feature films have been released on VOD platforms like Netflix and Amazon in the US and have been sold in 15 countries. His numerous series have been released on platforms in South Korea, the UK, and the United States.

He has won a total of 60 awards from various film festivals and webfests.
Young Man Kang collaborated with "Avatar" alumni Just Cause 3D on his "4D Experience" Project. His latest series, Lotte Haus, won 15 awards and has been selected for over 40 film festivals.

He is currently producing and directing the Prayer International Series, an anthology with 16 episodes filmed in different cities, with the latest being Prayer Panama.

He is the founder of K WEBFEST (Seoul Webfest) & Hollywood Series, and became the festival director of LA WEBFEST in 2022.

Dear Festival Jury Members,

We have been producing the international series "Prayer," filmed in Istanbul, Rome, Seoul, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Frankfurt, Honolulu, Lima, Cusco, Toronto, Vancouver, Rio, San Salvador, Atlanta, Wetzlar and Panama.
