Hamza Baig is a Pakistan-based Lecturer, Filmmaker, and Artist. He teaches in the Mass Communication Department at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad.
Hamza is also a self-taught independent filmmaker, screenwriter, and actor. His short films including Mama and Dua have been awarded and screened at various national and international festivals.
This film is in a language that I don't understand, about people I've never met. The idea was to tell a very human story that had a sense of universality to it. At the heart of it, Dua is a story about our love for family.
