Power

This is the story of Armenia's 2018 revolution, when a former journalist came to power surfing the wave of populism and the overwhelming hunger for change.
In two years, the country finds itself at an all-out regional war leading to thousands of dead and the demise of romantic illusions.
The leading character is a woman of 30, Alisa, the assistant to the former president who refuses to collaborate with the new administration and kicks off a struggle against it. However, to defeat the "beast", she needs to understand how populism thrives and its soft spots. She leads a movement of questioning the slogans and vows that brought the new administration to power and faces challenges posed by a defiant government machine.
