Director Statement

This is my second major short film with a cast and crew other than just myself, and I am incredibly happy with the end result. I’m very proud of everyone involved with the film, in particular my actors. When I write scripts I write them with specific actors in mind for specific parts; this film was no different and everyone brought it 100%. I had worked with JT and Morgan before, but Emily and Chelsea were brand-new to acting and I was incredibly pleased with their performances.

This film is loosely connected to my previous stoner comedy, Young Professionals, which also starred JT as Marshall. I like the idea that these films (and any future stoner comedies I create) exist in the same universe, but I don’t want to create a situation where you have to see the previous film to understand what’s going on in this one.

Overall, I really couldn’t be more happy with how the film turned out. I want to again thank my incredible cast and crew, and I hope I have the privilege to work with them again in the future.
