Portrait of a Dream is a film based on the idea that every face a person sees in their dreams corresponds to a face they have seen in reality. I came up with this concept shortly after waking up on a summer afternoon, staring at the ceiling. Originally I had planned for this concept to come to life through a romance film, similar to Pink•ish, but it felt too cliche. I have wanted to work within the neo-noir genre for a while, and thought bringing the film into that genre would make it more interesting and unique. So, here it is now, completely created and cast by university students.
