Portrait

The story plays out at a time where people do not get what they want, but hopefully they get what they need.

A sniper that kills without hesitance , justifying his will by Gods Words. A kid that is wandering around searching for food, holding a portrait as a last reminder of what he has lost.

Why I wanted to tell this story?
Portraits are the only thing that I wish I took with me from Syria when I fled. Portraits are usually a documentation of happy and extraordinary moments that we desperately tries to capture so it lasts as long as we hold on to the ghost of it, framed. (or at least what we used to do before the first iPhone). Portraits gives hope, makes you smile or cry. It provokes feelings.
