The European migrant crisis is a brutal and historic affair, and I believe within it we can find a very universal theme many of us can relate to: the search for home.
Through a solitary fisherman who’s lost his way, and a boy who has been lucky enough to make it to Sicily, I want to tell the story of all those who struggle to integrate themselves, one way or another.
It is their need to find a welcoming home and family, and the desperation with which they seek belonging that I want to narrate.
