A fantastic and life affirming festival to be part of. We were honuored to screen our film "Courage to change" there.
A really inspiring selection of films sensitively selected and curated. The directors of the festival, Anthe and Leo are excellent hosts and we were so warmly welcomed by the local community and filmmakers.
I highly recommend this festival to both filmmakers and film fans.

  • As a filmmaker I was treated like royalty at this festival with a VIP arm band. It’s a small team in a small town who put it together but they make a big professional event. And punch above their weight. Super slick and profesh in all communication and organisational elements. There’s a cute bar with local fox and drink at the venue and the theatre is historic and beautiful. Awesome beautiful town to visit also.

A lovely festival with a great selection of films and fantastic staff! It was an honour to feature our doc Piano to Zanskar as an Australian premiere. Thanks to the organisers for the opportunity and bravo for pulling it off in such testing and trying times!

Absolutely stoked to have been able to attend the inaugural Port Fairy Adventure Film Festival with my short doco Pacific Lines. The organizers put in a huge effort to create an amazing event from scratch and they well and truly succeeded. The refurbished Reardon Theatre was at the centre the festival but it also expanded to other parts of the town including social gatherings and a live radio show on ABC. I loved the inclusion of local artists as well, particularly seeing Warrnambool artist Jimmi Buscombe's chalk mural inspired by my film at the front of the theatre! Whhaaaaat! My wife and I went back a few months later and it was still there! Just the best :D
