PopNinja presents SHORTSFEST!
A 1 day film festival for shorts.
Any genre! As long as it's a short!
Short scripts too!

Festival will take place Saturday, April 8 in Lake Charles, LA at
the Central School Arts & Humanities Center (809 Kirby St.)
Full day of nothing but short film screenings followed by an awards ceremony and and then a reception with free food & drinks!

Awards & Prizes

There will be a cash prize for the 1st place winning short film and the 1st place winning short script.
Prize amount will be determined by number of entries.
(minimum cash prize will be $100.)
1st, 2nd & 3rd place film & script will get a trophy, certificate and T-shirt.
Top 10 films will be featured on popninja.net after the festival. (optional)

We are also teaming up with Inktip this year for a special prize for the winners in the short script competition...

InkTip: Where producers go for scripts and writers. Producers have made more than 315 films from scripts and writers they found through InkTip.

Winners of the PopNinja Shortsfest will receive an
InkTip Script Listing: A listing of your script on InkTip so that producers and reps can find you.

Rules & Terms

All shorts must have been made on or after April 8, 2015.
All projects must be your original creation and must not contained any copyrighted content (eg, music, video clips, etc.) unless you have permission from the copyright owner.
Short films must be 30 minutes or less. Short scripts must be 30 pages or less.

    I wish I'd been able to attend the festival. I'm sure if I had been there my networking score would be higher, so that's my fault, guys. Great communication and organization. I'm honored my short came in third. Thanks for e-mailing the laurel. I look forward to submitting again.
