PopUp Anthology is a screening series that highlights the work of local filmmakers and encourages audiences to support local storytelling. All screenings include a Q&A and reception after the event.

Screenings are held across New Jersey and Pennsylvania, but PopUp Anthology's home base is located at Artworks Trenton in Trenton, New Jersey.

Please submit your digital screener. Upon selection, you will be asked to submit a headshot and brief artist bio. Filmmakers must be present during their showcase.

Filmmakers should be local and/or willing to commute to locations in or surrounding New Jersey.

Submissions are $5.00 for short films. Submissions are considered and accepted on an open and rolling basis. If you are a returning PopUp filmmaker, please contact us for a waiver code.

Programmers will notify filmmaker upon acceptance. *If a film isn't considered for one specific monthly program, it will still be considered for future showcases!*

  • It was an honor to be part of PopUp Anthology. The quality of films was outstanding and the venue made it easy to not only meet with other filmmakers but to talk with them in a quiet and intimate environment.

I had a great screening of my short film at PopUp Anthology earlier this month! The venue, Hopewell Theatre, was beautiful, and it was a great Q&A setup. We happened to have an all-female Q&A, which was pretty cool! They've also been great about posting about the events on social media. Thanks, Katherine!
