Passionate about short, cute and funny character driven animated films that are full of spontaneity and anthropomorphism.
When I was a kid I adored animals and loved reading and learning about them. I love watching nature documentaries about animal species and the planet. The social sciences have also been another interest of mine from an early age. I'm a keen observer and I love to watch both animals and humans communicate and interact with each other. Much of my work is heavily based on ideas and concepts that I have thought up and collected due to having a wide interest in lots of different topics. These ideas are then applied to the stories and narratives in my concept/illustration works and animation films. My design style is very much replicable of that childhood love for animals that I have, and so you will see that most of my work will feature animals as the protagonist and lots of anthropomorphism. I use a blend of both digital and traditional techniques to create my design work, combined with lots of texture and simple lines and shapes.
