Ponza Film Festival is a film festival held on the Italian island of Ponza, dedicated to new and established filmmakers, showcasing international and Italian feature films, shorts, documentaries, music videos, and more.

Selected films are screened during our live events in front of the Festival’s audience. Attendees can network, watch films from other participants, engage in Q&A sessions, while enjoying the festival events on an iconic and beautiful location. Those who cannot participate can have their project showcased to the public.
The events are free and open to everyone.

Awards & Prizes

On September 13th, 14th, and 15th, 2024, a three-day event will take place at Sala Pisacane in Ponza. The first two days will showcase film screenings, while the third day will focus on presentations, Q&A sessions, and award ceremonies. The Municipality of Ponza will be hosting the event.

Films may be in any language but must be presented with subtitles in English and/or Italian.

    So honored and grateful to win various awards (caring for mom, no regrets) and be screened (no regrets - the sequel) and included in the Q&A at the Ponza Film Festival on the beautiful island of Ponza. If anybody has not been to Italy, being in the Ponza film lineup is the best excuse to go. The organizers were very hospitable (shout out to Rita of Villa Laetitia, who knew one of the organizers from her background in the theatre for making sure the movers and shakers at the Ponza event knew I was in the house), and the other filmmakers at the event were open and kind despite my less-than-barebones-Italian. Grazie a tutti/tutte!
