Diego Mello, Igor França, João Pedro Castro and Rafael de Moura Machado are the ones responsible for DOZE Futebol, a project that views football not only as a sport but as an important cultural aspect of Brazil and other places. The four young artists came from different backgrounds to team up in this project that started in 2017. Since them they've already produced 3 short films and numerous internet videos both in Brazil and abroad.
We understand football as an example of Mauss's complete social fact. Through the lens of football we can understand a place's culture, a person's backgound, a time period and even all of that together. So football will aways have deep and meaningfull stories, and those are what we want to tell.
