I think pluffism is actually a parody that goes beyond sports. Let’s take a look at a little media space that surrounds us. Quasi-stars sing and dance, potential chefs cook, young talents demonstrate their skills, and all this is diligently broadcast for weeks in all media and the drama about who will go to the finals is emphasized. One gets the impression that this is much more important to people than how much their fuel prices will be, utilities or who will run this country for them. Someone will say let people have fun, but it seems that these “parties” are a little too much after all. And then the pluffists come on stage!
