Please Don't Go

Two young lovers are ready for everything just to be together. Even if this means to shoot one of their parents, lock themselves in a dusty attic, eat rotten noodles and hit a police officer to death. They also exibit the whole thing in live, using their smartphone’s cameras, while thousands of anonimous viewers enjoy the story of Sasha and Giulia. Inspired by the true story of Katya and Denis.

Director Biography - Guglielmo Poggi

Guglielmo Poggi was born in Rome in 1991. Known as an actor, he also works as a director. He is specially known for his selection at “68th Festival de Cannes” with his short movie “Please don’t go - Siamo la fine del mondo”. He won best director and best short movie at “Terni International Film Festival” and best short movie and audience award in “International Film Festival for Food Disorders "Film di peso" ”. As a director, his efforts within thematics are focused on real-based or fictional stories about youth, new generations matters and new media influence on western culture. Speaking of artistic language and camera use, he prefers long-shots and close ups as peculiar frames, described by himself as meaningful and expressive terms of communication.
