Director Statement

Pizza Fright! knows what it is. What started as an ode to slacker flicks from the 90’s and early 2000s became a projection of someone out of their depth, figuring things out and a sprinkle of sexual tension. As more and more talent was attached, the more the film reflected different aspects of each personality. Miraculously, a stupid movie about a puppet that eats people became a stupid movie about a puppet that eats people... with heart. A fun film by a bunch of students doing what they love, inspired by what they love.
