Dennis Lynch is a southeast Massachusetts-based journalist. Dennis has spent more than a decade in the field and in 2023-2024 produced his first documentary project: Pivden ’23.
Pivden '23 is my first documentary project. I went to Ukraine wanting to better understand the experiences of people there and give them a platform to share their realities with the world.
I plan to return to Ukraine to follow up with some of the subjects in Pivden '23. Some of them have lost loved ones and property since then. The situation has only worsened even for those that remain "untouched" by the war.
Pivden '23 is screening in Fall River, Massachusetts; Bristol, Rhode Island; and New York, New York in February and April 2025.
